Having studied Film Production at the Arts University of Bournemouth, Khuram went on to work for Lionsgate Films UK and later 42 Management & Production. He would then go into producing music promos for Pulse Films, Elixir Pictures and short films with the BFI. Deciding he wanted to take on a more practical and hands-on approach to storytelling, he redirected his efforts into photography. In a short window of time he has shot stills for Netflix, Sky and the BFI. In 2021 he won the prestigious Portrait of Britain award through the British Journal of Photography. His winning image was displayed throughout the country and published in the Portrait of Britain book by The Hoxton Press. Along with shooting stills, Khuram also shoots headshots for a number of actors and regularly works with 42 Management & Production utilising his unique style of portrait photography to headshots.
